Suffering from Social Anxiety Disorder myself, I related to Alice on a personal level. This fact alone is enough for me to give it a high rating.
Alice’s therapist pushes for her to go to Camp Rewind to help conquer this condition, an excellent idea. Face your fears head on, my mantra and one I have to use on a daily basis.
Alice meets Rosa, a complete opposite. I did see this coming, us socially anxious tend to surround ourselves with the more extroverted types, helps us to blend in, feel protected and remain unseen.
I was impressed with how well the story covered the social awkwardness of Alice and the flamboyance of Rosa, I felt the character development was well defined. I would have preferred a little more be done with the ending, but I was not disappointed.
Meghan’s ability to write hot, sexy scenes is a definite five-star rating in my opinion, she does not disappoint here.
